Welcome to the Cultural Diversity blog of IES Bellvitge! We`re participating in the Comenius Project 2010. In our first, we'll tell you a little about ourselves and propose a subject for debate. Enjoy!

Hi! I'm Ana, I'm 17 years old and I was born in Manhattan, NY.
I love to spend my free time on art of any kind- literature, music... But mostly drawing, it's my passion!
Cultural diversity is something that has always been very present in my life, as my family is multicultural and I have been raised in two different countries.
I'm very excited to be working on the Comenius Project!

Hello! I'm Miriam, and I'm 16 years old. I was born in Barcelona and I've been living here ever since.
I feel very passionate about photography and fashion, they're my favourite hobbies.
I have many friends from different cultures than my own, and I've always found it interesting to learn about their different lifestyles.
I can't wait to see Budapest!

Hey! My name is Natalie, I'm 17 years old and I'm from Barcelona, but my mom's from London so I haven't got any problem with English.
Most of my time I dance.I love dancing, I can't be a whole day without moving, the same thing with listening to music. I also like spending time with my friends shopping, having dinner or supper out, going to parties.....
I've grown up with both English and Spanish culture and customs. This has been a wonderful experience for me because I think that knowing two such different cultures has helped me to understand life in many more different ways.
I'm really looking fowoard going to Budapest and meeting people from othr countries! =)

Hey! My name is Vivian Asiedu Koroma, i'm 17 years old and I come from Ghana But l live in Barcelona. I've been here for 6 years now and thanks to the great people I met here now I can speak Spanish and Catalan which is the language of Catalonia.

I don't really have a favorite hobby but I like listening to music, going out with friends and meeting new people. My dream is to travel around the world and meet all the wonderfully people out there and lean from them. I think Cultural diversity is a great experience I've ever have in my life. I'm very grateful to participate in the Comenius project. I can't wait to see you guys in Budapest. love youuu!

DEBATE

Do you believe it would be more convenient if we all spoke the same language, or that languages give us a view of the world and we should protect them?
